Happy Hopkins Halloween!

What a crAzy end to October 2011!
First of all the weekend got it's kick off on Friday with Naomi and Elijah catching a cold. Levi, Josiah and I caught a stomach bug. Idk! Daddy was out of town so Grand Dad came to the rescue. YAY for Grandparents! Grand Dad or "G-Dad" as Josiah calls him took in Naomi and Elijah. And I stayed home with the two little boys. Let me just say that vomit and fire poop is not how I envisioned my 2011 Halloween Weekend. *sigh* Moving forward now as the kids were recovering on Sunday they missed out on the children's program at church. They were majorly bummed about that but enjoyed every minute of their time with G-Dad. So the big Monday rolled in and with everyone feeling much better.....we. went.  Trick Er Treatin'!!!
So the Force was with us and you will see why........
Levi as Yoda, Naomi as Princess Leia, Elijah as a Storm Trooper and Josiah as Darth Vador!

They crept up to this house....and Josiah kept saying, "I Skeerd". LOL!

My cheeky little beggars!
Levi would say, "Tih Teat" and then after he got some candy he said, "Kank Kooo"!
Ah that kid melts me.

Here we are back home and time to hang up costumes, hide the candy, get ready for bed & hide the candy(oh I already said that *hehe*) and as you can see Naomi is not too pleased.

All in all we had a great evening. Thank you Lord for the inspiration of "the Force" thus making a foundation of happy memories!

Happy Hopkins Halloween!

It's official, I am a "Soccer Mom"

Elijah in blue couldn't get over how awesome it was to run and run and run and kick the ball and not get in trouble. Naomi in pink with her brand new pink soccer hair bows, seriously had a blast!

We took our Parti Yorkie Aubrey with us to practice which I believe is against the rules....but I didn't know at the time and she had a blast watching that ball go every where.

These bows are by far the best that I have made since I have been making
them. This is going to be a great fall season! I had such a great time creating these and Naomi's "Game day" look!

I somehow had it in my mind that the game plan was to meet up for the parade at 10am. So here we are at 10am in front of our house taking pictures. So in my mind we were already late and just go meet up with the team at the school.
Boy was I ever wrong. We didn't have to be there until 11am. Oops! Well at least we were early to an event for a change. Didn't find out until after we got to the school so we took more pics! =)

We went to Randalls and met up with the team in preparation for the parade to Austin!
Coach brought donuts for everyone!!!

Finally the game began! Elijah is number 9 and Naomi is number 2.

Grand Dad watching the game and Naomi getting her back massaged by little Levi!

I was really impressed by Elijah's ability to keep the ball engaged while running and then scoring.
There a a couple of things in this next photo that I would like to point out. First thing is that the itty bitty red head is in primary with Mimi and Eli. They got a kick out of seeing her there. Naomi  was very happy that she remembered her name. So cute!

I was so proud to see Elijah and Naomi actually paying attention to the game and guarding the goal!

The kids had sooo much fun. I am going to say in advanced that I think soccer is going to be a childhood winner for the Hopkins tribe.

What a great way to spend the kids Birthday weekend!

Naomi and the Pupcakes!

Naomi the Super Model

First day of Kindergarten!

Cali Summer 2011

Summer Hair Cuts!

The Hopkins boys had wildly long curly hair that had to be cut. But Naomi who couldn't be left out of all the fun took it upon herself to cut her own hair upper right side. Notice to blue head band cleverly placed and her crazy look what I did look to the camera. Yeah Daddy took her to the beauty shop to get her hair evened out but it was still a disaster and thus the headband will be used for a good long while. =)

Naomi's riding lessons. Summer 2011

Bedtime Stories Well Sort of......

Been having trouble getting the munchkins to go to bed at 8pm. We put the down at 8 but each one will get up at least twice before they actually fall asleep maybe two hours later. And always one of these munchkins will end up cuddling with Mom by morning.

Hopkins Christmas 2010

Christmas was wonderful! Thank you lord for giving me the energy to make Christmas Magic this year! The Gift that the kids wanted more than anything this year was their new big kid bikes!!!
